Moore
Human Events' Man of the Year: Roy Moore. Ann Coulter, in her exaggerated style, makes the point that leftists are the new puritans:
Liberals in New York and Washington are consumed with what people are doing in Alabama and Nebraska. Nadine Strossen and Barry Lynn cannot sleep at night knowing that someone, somewhere, is gazing upon something that could be construed as a religious symbol.
Art Online
I've just come across more online exhibitions from the Philadelphia Museum of Art webpage. They are very detailed! The one from the recent Degas show even has the audio tour on the webpage. It's kind of interesting to see more museums creating these flashy internet versions of their exhibitions. I would certainly much rather go see the exhibit in person, but it's not a bad deal for shows I'm unable to see.
Oh, the National Gallery in DC also has some online tours that are related to their own collection rather than a visiting exhibition.
Feel creative (or like wasting time)?
Have a little fun making your own Picasso head here.
Thanks Lawless!
Saddam
Of course, capturing Saddam Hussein is excellent news, and it should help the US achieve its goal of establishing Iraq as an independent democracy. But as this reminds us, it's not necessarily the end of the Iraqi resistance.
However, since this may have put a significant dent in morale of the resistance, this would be a very appropriate time to commit more troops. If it's used as an excuse to soften US presence, it may do more harm than good.
